As you know, Bob, at some point this summer (honest!), my third collection, Sefira and Other Betrayals, will be published by the fine folks at Hippocampus Press. For the third time, the incredible Santiago Caruso has provided the cover image for me:
I know, right?
I’m working away at both the new stories for the collection, plus the story notes. Seeing this image makes me want to work faster.
This past weekend at the HPLFF, I had the chance to talk to Derrick Hussey about my next collection, Sefira and Other Betrayals. Specifically, we discussed my desire to add a second original story to the collection. This is a piece that I had wanted to include with the book, but hadn’t thought I would have the time to complete before it went to press. After our conversation, we agreed that it made sense to add this other new piece to the collection, even though it means pushing the release date back to early 2017 (we’re hoping for late January/early February). I’m sorry for anyone who’s frustrated by the additional wait, but this version of the book will be much more the book I want to publish. We’re in talks with Santiago Caruso to do another cover for us; more news on that when we have it.
